At
the most fundamental level, everything is energy, including
beliefs, attitudes and feelings. We are conscious
co-creators of our world and we create with our thoughts and feelings,
either consciously or subconsciously. Energy
Psychology
is an umbrella term used to describe a variety of techniques for
resolving a wide range of problems. The term represents the
leading edge of psychology and mental and emotional health and
well-being. Energy Psychology techniques are regularly used to treat
phobias (irrational fears), anxieties, fears (normal fears), unresolved
emotions from the past, PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder),
relationship issues, money issues and much much more. EFT is what is
known as a "meridian" technique.
That is, it works on the same meridians, or energy channels, used in
acupuncture. Based upon traditional chinese
medicine theory, EFT utilises meridians or energy channels throughout the
body as a way of correcting blocks and restoring the flow of energy. By
using our intention and tuning into or connecting with our energy and
tapping with fingertips, we stimulate meridian energy points, thus
freeing our energy and restoring natural balance and well
being on all levels. EFT
is a safe and effective treatment that can be self administered once
taught and help you in maintaining a healthy life on all levels. For
those with deeper seated or long-standing issues it is advisable to work
with a professional who will help you release deeper patterns
